National Microchipping Month

Did you know more pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year? This is due to the loud noises of holiday celebrations, including fireworks. ??

June is National Microchipping Month! If your pet does not have a microchip, now is the time! A microchip is the only form of pet identification that is permanent, with a unique number that cannot fall off, be altered or removed. With a microchip the chances of your pet being identified and returned home safely will greatly increase.

It is also a good idea to make sure your cat or dog is always wearing a collar that has up-to-date contact information listed.
