Ear mites… gross!
These little critters can live in your pet’s ears and wreak havoc! They can be extremely itchy and can cause your pet to scratch to the point that he/she creates bleeding sores. A black ear discharge is common with ear mite infections. A swab of the discharge is usually examined under a microscope (shown in the video) to confirm the presence of ear mites.
