These images were taken before and after a dental cleaning here at Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital. This patients’ teeth were carefully scaled with an ultrasonic scaler to remove bacterial plaque and tartar, which can cause painful problems like gingivitis (inflammation and infection of the gums). Each tooth was then thoroughly scrubbed with a gentle polish, which removes surface imperfections and helps promote a healthy tooth surface.
