A Licensed Veterinary Technician is assigned the exclusive task of monitoring your pet during the procedure. Multiple important parameters are constantly monitored to adjust to the immediate needs of your pet during the procedure. This includes heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, EKG, and carbon dioxide concentrations. From induction to recovery from anesthesia, your pets are monitored and charted by one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians as they work with our doctors.
While we can never make any procedure including anesthesia totally risk free, we do strive to take every precaution to minimize a patient’s risk while sedated or anesthetized.
