Dr. Wills
Dr. Mark E. Will D.V.M.
Dr. Will is one of Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital’s veterinarians.  He is a general small animal practitioner who has interests in laser surgery and therapy, dentistry, and ophthalmology.  He holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University (1989) and a D.V.M. degree from Purdue University (1993).  He practiced for five years in a small animal group practice in Albany, N.Y. prior to his current practice in Gloversville.  He is a past president of the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society and is currently the chairperson of the Ethics Committee.  He is also a member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.  He is currently a board member of the Northway Animal Emergency Clinic in Gansevoort.   Locally he is a board member of the Fulton County YMCA, and a member and secretary of the Glove Cities Rotary Club.  He is also past president of the Board of Directors of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Fulton and Montgomery Counties.  He attends the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Gloversville with his family.  He resides in Bleecker with his wife Charlotte, his son, Simon, and his daughter, Bridget.  They have a dog, Charlie, and cat, Oliver.  His hobbies include hiking, camping, downhill skiing, woodworking, and scouting with his son Simon.

Dr. Santspree
Dr. Melanie L. Santspree D.V.M.
Dr. Santspree is a general small animal and small mammal practitioner with interests in surgery, dermatology, alternative/holistic therapy, and exotics. She is a member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, Capital District Veterinary Medical Society, American Veterinary Medical Society and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Santspree is originally from Albany, N.Y.  She holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Cornell University (2007) and her D.V.M. from Michigan State University’s college of veterinary medicine (2011). She is currently looking for homes in the Gloversville area to share with her fiancé Adam, son Liam, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 rabbits.  In her spare time she enjoys writing, reading, photography, painting, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Verra Dr. Michael Troy Verra D.V.M., M.S., D.A.B.V.P.
Dr. Verra is a specialist practicing ultrasound, endoscopy, and other special procedures.  He holds a B.S. degree from Rutgers University (1980), a M.S. degree from the University of Georgia (1983), and a D.V.M. from the University of Georgia (1986).  He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is certified in Canine and Feline Practice.    He resides in Hadley, with his wife Lila, and his two daughters, Susie, and Lila Marie.  He enjoys water sports, such as boating and water skiing, snowmobiling and downhill skiing
Jack Jack Ellithorpe
Jack is a Veterinary Assistant at Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital. He joins our practice as the newest member of our family! Originally from Northville, Jack moved to Gloversville 15 years ago. He has earned an Associates degree in Business Administration from FMCC and has 20 years experience within the computer field. He currently resides with his partner Jeff of 16 years and their 2 labs Sydney and Onyx. His hobbies include reading, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.


 

Jennifer Jennifer Henze
Jennifer is a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician. She holds an associates degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Delhi (2000). She is a member of the NYS  Veterinary Association of Technicians as well as the North American Veterinary Technician Association.  Originally from the Ithaca area, she now resides in Northville with her husband Scott, son Scottie, daughter Keaghan, 2 cats, Smudge and Willow and a dog named Maple.   Her hobbies include camping, gardening, and reading.
Jennifer Krystin Grant
Krystin is a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician.  She earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technology at SUNY Delhi, in May, 1989.  She is a member of the NYS Veterinary Association of Technicians and the North American Veterinary Technician Association.  She has a strong interest in small animal dentistry and surgery.  Krystin lives in Fort Johnson with her husband, Tim, and two children, Megan and Nathan.  She enjoys the outdoors and loves doing things with her family.
Karen Karen Powers
Karen is a Veterinary Assistant at Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital. Originally from New York City, Karen has lived in this area for over 30 years. She and her husband Bob, have a dog, Foxy and several birds. Karen has two grown sons, Scott and Danny, and three grandchildren, Autumn, Michela and Joseph. Karen and Bob were professional crafters for 12 years. Now spare time is spent gardening, doing needlework, and playing computer games.
Abigail Abigail Gargiulo
Abbey is a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician.  She earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Delhi in 2006. She is currently a member of the NYS Veterinary Association of Technicians and the North American Veterinary Technicians Association. Abbey lives outside of Gloversville with her daughter Olivia.   Her hobbies are traveling, shopping and being outdoors.  She adores her tiny Chihuahua, Elvis. They go everywhere together and he is always dressed for the occasion. 
 
Audrey Audrey Hichens
Audrey is a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician. She earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technology at SUNY Delhi in 2001. Audrey is a member of the NYS Veterinary Association of Technicians and the North American Veterinary Technician Association. Originally from Gloversville, she now resides in Meco with her husband Alvin and her daughters Mekenzie and Hailey. She has three cats Mugsy, Clyde and Screetch, and a dog named Tyler.  Her hobbies include gardening, scrapbooking and camping.
Kelly Kelly Semione
Kelly is the hospital's Practice Manager. She joins the Hospital with over 15 years of Management experience. Kelly is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association.  She resides in the town of Johnstown with her husband Joseph. They have two dogs  Jillian and Isaac, and five cats, Blondie, Smokey, Snowball, Pumpkin and Bandit. Her hobbies include traveling, gardening and maintaining her 21 acre country home.
